The Westview Art Committee is pleased to announce an Artist Reception featuring August Burns.  “August Burns is a painter specializing in figurative art and portraiture. Burns lives in Middlesex, Vermont. The focus of her work and of her life is people, and her art is about capturing the person in the portrait. Her passion is to answer the questions— “What makes each of us unique?”, “What is it about a face that tells a person’s story?”” Burns is curious what portrait residents most enjoyed. The Art Committee is thus, hosting a “People’s Choice Award” where residents can vote for their favorite fine art piece displayed in the Santa Maria Lounge. To learn more about August and her talent, please visit this link: August Burns
