People Watching with a Purpose. This July, we’re bringing the fun of Bingo out into the fresh air with a brand-new twist: Porch Bingo! Residents will gather on the porch, cards in hand, and keep our eyes peeled as the bustling capital of Vermont rolls around us. But don’t expect numbers and letters, these Bingo cards are a little different. You’ll be watching for things like a red car, someone walking a dog, a person wearing glasses, and all the little everyday sights that make Montpellier come alive. It’s part Bingo, part people watching, and all about enjoying the moment. No running around, no shouting, just a relaxing time with neighbors, sunshine, and the quiet thrill of checking off that next square. We’ve made custom cards just for this, and there might even be a little prize for those who get a bingo! So come join us on the porch, take in the view, and see what you can spot. The world is more fun when you’re really looking.
